HarCo Alert 12/1110 - Coastal Flood Advisory and River Flood Warning
HarCo Alert: Coastal Flood Advisory now in effect; River Flood Warnings continue.

A new Coastal Flood Advisory is now in effect, and River Flood Warnings continue for Harrison County. Coastal waters are expected to be 1 to 2 feet above normal tides.
River updates:
- At 10:45 am, the Biloxi River at Three Rivers Rd bridge measured 12.8 ft; forecast to crest near 15.5 ft late Thursday; flood stage is 12 ft.
- At 10:30 am, the Tchoutacabouffa River at Lamey Bridge Rd measured 6.2 ft; forecast to crest near 9 ft late Thursday; flood stage is 8 ft.
- At 10:45 am, the Wolf River at Bell’s Ferry Rd bridge measured 7.4 ft; forecast to crest near 8 ft early Friday; flood stage is 8 ft.

At 10 am, the center of Tropical Depression Francine was located about 15 miles north-northeast of Jackson, Mississippi. Francine’s maximum sustained winds are 35 mph, and present movement is north at 12 mph.

Local weather conditions in Harrison County will be improving today, but river flooding will affect some roads.
